A big thank you to the Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia (CAAM) for meeting the Malaysian Sports Aviation Federation (MSAF) team last Thursday, to present part of our initiative towards agreeing a framework for Light Sport Aircraft (LSA) regulations in Malaysia.

CAAM were represented by Airworthiness, Operations and Air Traffic representatives. MSAF were represented by Their President Mohd Nurhaqimy, (Paramotors), Syafiq Bahri (Head of GA), Maurizio Chedid (head of Airworthiness and LSA Regulations) Aylwin (Head of Microlights), Michael Roache ( Amphibians) and Mike Creed (Head of Gyroplanes).

MSAF’s Goals are to create a safe sport flying environment together with CAAM, encompassing, acceptable, Airworthiness, Maintenance, Training and Safety procedures. We look forward to Continuing our MSAF initiative with CAAM and thank both teams for their Contributions.
