SELANGOR AVIATION SHOW 2021 (SAS) SUBANG SKYPARK

Selangor Aviation Show 2021 was one of the events we previously took part in before this. This is one of the major events that we join where the organiser assembles many aviation companies and related organisations involved with the flying activity. This is to share and gives exposure to the local community that is interested in flying and we will explain the do’s and the don’ts to ensure they fly through the correct channel and legally. Safety is the main important reason in aviation thus, having this kind of community and good exposure will increase the awareness among all activists.


BUSINESS AVIATION AND GENERAL AVIATION (BAGA) TOWNHALL

On 27 January 2022, Malaysia Sports Aviation Federation (MSAF) attended a Business Aviation and General Aviation (BAGA) Townhall at Hilton Petaling Jaya organised by Invest Selangor and Woman in Aviation Asia. During the event, the Selangor Aviation Show 2021 report was presented and also there was a talk about the Selangor Aerospace Action Plan 2020-2030. The Selangor Aerospace Action Plan 2020-2030 was established through meetings and discussions with federal and state agencies as well as the broader aerospace community. According to the Malaysian Aerospace Blueprint 2030, key subsectors include MRO, aerospace manufacturing, systems integration also engineering and design. It also tries to address challenges beyond critical areas like business aviation and industry-wide issues. Some of the planned funding initiatives include setting up a training programme with numerous technician training institutes in Selangor, sponsoring a common facility, and investment awards for capital. An exhibition booth from MSAF also has been set up to explain information about sports aviation to the exhibitors.


 GENERAL AVIATION(GA) COMMITTEE RECRUITMENT MEETING

On 20 December 2021, En. Syafiq bin Bahri had organised a meeting to appoint a position in the MSAF General Aviation Committee. A total of five people had been added to the meeting within Google Meet. The purpose of this meeting was to name the committee and provide an overview of the job scope for each committee. Attendees arrived around 2 pm for the meeting, which ended at 4.30 p.m. GA Secretary Ikhwan Muslim bin Mohammad Sukri became the new secretary, together with En. Muhammad Iqbal Bin Jusri and Mellon Duwen in the media, and Muhammad Ikhwan bin Zukkifly in the Event Committee.


SAFETY COURSE: FIRST AID AND RESCUE

In a private session on February 12th, 2022, the General Aviation Committee learned about first aid and rescue in UniKL MIAT. The course’s primary focus is on how to respond to an accident and how to wait for an ambulance to arrive. The course began at 8:30 am and concluded at 4:30 pm. It starts with the introduction of first aid and the necessary supplies. After that, we learned how to bandage a patient in a bandage properly and how to carry them both on and off a stretcher.Blueprint 2030, key subsectors include MRO, aerospace manufacturing, systems integration also engineering and design. LICENSING MEETING ( INTERNAL AND CAAM)

On 11 May 2022, En. Syafiq with his committee, had come to Pedas Airfield, Negeri Sembilan to brief about the update on air sports activities and regulations Negeri Sembilan Sport Aviation Club (NSSAC). The agenda of this meeting is to inform the NSSAC community in Pedas about the NOTAM, licensing, flight training course and aircraft registration. The meeting started at 3 P.M. and finished at 4.30 P.M. with a Q&A session. 


MEETING WITH DEPUTY DEAN UNIKL MIAT TO ESTABLISH FLYING CLUB UNIKL MIAT

The Committee of General Aviation MSAF intended to do a collaboration with UniKL MIAT to establish Flying Club UniKL MIAT. Deputy Dean of UniKL MIAT, Associate Professor Dr Khairul Dahri, agreed to approve the Flying Club in UniKL MIAT with MSAF. The meeting was set up by the general aviation Vice president, En Syafiq and the Deputy Dean of Academic Affairs of UniKL MIAT. The meeting went smoothly. VIDEO EDITING AND WEB PREPARATION

The video of the montage was created by collecting and editing several of the recordings that had been recorded during the previous event. During the Selangor Aviation Show 2021, which took place at Subang Skypark, a montage video was shown at the exhibition to show the organisation’s prior accomplishments and activities throughout the preceding years.


The MSAF website www.msaf.org.my was founded in 2010. Nowadays, the website will be up to date with the newest air sports news and events that happened in Malaysia. Some of the latest bulletin and posts also will be posted on the website. All information regarding the MSAF and air sports will be posted on the website.
