Welcome to all Paragliding Pilot. Terengganu International Air Festival 2022 is the first event held at Besut Paragliding Park. This is SERIES 1 of the TERENGGANU INTERNATIONAL AIR FESTIVAL celebrating 10 years of this Paragliding Site being explored.

Selection and entry fee
Selection will be on a first come, first served basis. Once we reach 100 pilots we will be full
Individual :
- Entry fee : MYR 100 ( if paid until 15.8.2022 )
- Entry fee : MYR 120 ( if paid until 20.8.2022 )
- Entry fee at registration desk: MYR 150 cash (or if paid 26.8.2022)
Entry fee including site fee, site transportation, F&B, event T-shirt ( 26 -28 August 2022 only ) .*exclude Accommodation.
Team : 4 Pilots ( 1 team )

Cancellation Policy
If the organisers cancel the event due to unforeseen circumstances, The entry fee will be offered as a refund less an admin fee of MYR30
- The competition will not be held if confirmed registration does not reach at least 50% of maximum registration by 17 August 2022.
Prizes and Scoring Categories
Prize pool is set at MYR 7,500 for overall competition

Facts about Besut Paragliding ParkBesut Paragliding Park is the first paragliding spot that offers beachfront view and becoming the attraction to all pilots and non-pilots to visit as an escape venue for leisure. Besut Paragliding Park is founded by Mr Asnawi Bin Mohd Hassan almost 11 years ago (2011) along with his crews who are now managing this place under an organisation of 3A Adventures Bukit Bubus Paragliding Club and been in a slow progression by time due to several factors but that doesn’t stop Besut Paragliding Park to be a hotspot to all pilot that offers such a great flying experience with a very low incident/accident report in operator’s data.The TO (TakeOff) is situated on a small hill 85 metres ASL facing NE and receiving a constant, all day long wind from the sea. Launch area is spacious, easy to launch and easy to stay airborne using dynamic lift. When high enough height, it is possible to hop to the adjacent hill for longer ridge soaring. LZ (Landing Zone) is the wide beach area situated right next to the hill, you won’t miss it and there’s plenty of space even for the most conservative pilots.The best wind season starts from March to October. A great window based on past experience and geographic condition starts at 11am to 7pm. The travel distance between LZ to TO took about only 10 minutes.
