1. EVENT OVERVIEW
The Malaysia International Air Games 2026 (MIAG 2026) is envisioned as one of the region’s premier international sports aviation festivals, bringing together elite competition, grassroots participation, tourism activation, youth engagement, and aviation industry development under a single integrated platform.
Hosted in Kuala Kubu Bharu (KKB), Selangor — one of Asia’s leading paragliding destinations — MIAG 2026 will serve as a strategic milestone toward the development of the Asian Air Games and support Malaysia’s aspirations toward future inclusion of airsports in the South East Asian (SEA) Games ecosystem.This event is co organized with KBS, MPHS, MALAYSIA EVENTS, KLUKKB, and CLOUDBASS VENTURE.
The event will feature the Paragliding Asian Cross Country (XC) AFA League Series 2 alongside multiple international airsports and drone sport championships involving athletes, teams, officials, and participants from across Asia and beyond.
MIAG 2027 is also designed as a strategic SEA Games 2027 Test Event, providing a platform to benchmark:
- Competition operations
- Technical systems
- Athlete logistics
- Safety and risk management
- Media coordination
- Event management capability
- Venue readiness and public engagement
Beyond competition, the event aims to inspire youth and communities by promoting aviation, aerospace innovation, technology, STEM education, tourism, and healthy outdoor lifestyles.

10. PRIZES
