MSAF had a constructive session with CAAM on 16th August Wednesday at CAAM HQ in Putrajaya which attended by CEO of CAAM , Datuk Captain Chester Voo, Deputy Flight Operations, Captain Norazman, Captain Jani, President of MSAF, Senior Vice President MSAF, Head Of Regulation MSAF and Secretary of MSAF.

This was a culmination after several working sessions since December 2021 to firm up a joint MOU between MSAF and CAAM for Malaysia Airsports safety awareness and regulation standards. The Safety aspects were a keen focus of this session. This was highlighted on Safety Risk Assessment and Safety Management system enhancements proposed to MSAF. A more robust framework with regards to Aviators training would also be formulated in a structural manner. The session were concluded to finalize the safety and training structure proposed by MSAF to comply with CAAM standards.

A joint MoU within MSAF and CAAM is expected to be signed on the upcoming Selangor Aviation Show in September 2022.
